Welcome to Washtlie, operated by Washtly Ltd. We respect your privacy and are committed to protecting your personal data. This privacy policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our mobile application.

2. Data We Collect

To connect customers, washers, and drivers, we collect:

• Identity Data: Name, email address, and phone number.
• Location Data: Precise geolocation data (required for drivers to find pickup/delivery addresses and for customers to track their laundry in real-time).
• Payment Data: Financial transactions are processed securely through our third-party payment gateway. We do not store your full credit card details on our servers.

3. How We Use Your Data

We use your information to operate the marketplace, including:

• Facilitating the pickup and delivery of laundry between customers, washers, and drivers.
• Enabling communication between customers, washers, and drivers.
• Processing payments and preventing fraud.

4. Data Sharing

We only share necessary information with our network partners (e.g., sharing a customer's address with the assigned driver and laundry provider). We never sell your data to third parties.

5. Security & Retention

We use industry-standard encryption to protect your data. We retain your information only as long as necessary to provide our services or comply with Jamaican legal requirements.

7. Independent Contractor Agreement

Drivers and washers on Washtlie are independent contractors, not employees, agents, partners, or joint venturers of Washtly Ltd. By submitting the ID verification form, you electronically sign this agreement.

• Independent status: You are self-employed. You control your own schedule, equipment, and method of work.
• Taxes and insurance: You are solely responsible for your own income taxes, national insurance, business licenses, vehicle insurance, and any other local requirements.
• Services: You agree to perform pickup, delivery, washing, drying, and folding services on a per-job basis for Washtlie customers.
• Platform fee: Washtlie retains 20% of each job payment as a platform fee; you receive 80%.
• No employment benefits: You are not entitled to wages, salary, overtime, vacation, sick leave, health insurance, pension, workers' compensation, or unemployment benefits from Washtlie.
• Liability: You are responsible for your own actions while performing services.
• Termination: Either party may end this relationship at any time. Washtlie may remove you from the platform for policy violations.
• Electronic signature: Typing your full legal name in the verification form and clicking "Submit for verification" constitutes a legally binding electronic signature.

If you do not agree with these terms, do not submit an application as a driver or washer on Washtlie.
